Staten Island Academy Hosts 37th Annual Auction Fundraiser
Staten Island Academy had its 37th annual auction Saturday night at the Richmond County Country Club, Dongan Hills. The event, with a “Roaring Twenties” theme, featured more than 140 items in a silent auction and some two dozen in the live auction. Auctioneers were Erin Ward and Jill Doherty of the Long Island-based Star Benefit Auctions.

The Live Auction was a tremendous success as international award-winning auctioneers Erin Ward and Jill Doherty helped raise $32,000 in proceeds in the event. The night was also highlighted by Tom Brady, Sr., who helped raise over $5,000 for his donated Jets at Patriots: Boston Vacation package. The other bright spot of the evening was the four Giants home opener tickets that fetched $5,000 from a lucky and faithful New York Giants fan.
